“There is no need to thank me”, he said. But I was thankful nevertheless. “You were the 

logical choice”, he said. “I will do my best”, I responded. “This will suffice”, he said. And he 

left the book with me, to fill it out.

 How am I supposed to make a record of finer, less obvious things, having been blinded by the 

Light? The Gate materialized around me, and vanished soon after. I never got to see what it 

looked like. “Exactly the way you imagined it”, said the voice. Everything was the way I’d 

imagined it would be. And that was reassuring… 

… I made a record of the blessed ones in their Heavenly Garden of Light. I had hoped that 

one day, I would be entitled to it as well. But God had other plans for me…
